Build your entry by selecting a GL account and entering debit or credit amount.  There is no limit to the number of accounts you can use in a single entry. 
You can add an account on the fly if the account you need is missing.

The program will tell you if your entry is balanced.

Change or edit accounts and amounts as much as needed.  As you make changes a net entry balance is shown at the bottom of the screen
